Aircraft Spirals Wildly into Palm Trees at Frequented Southern California Beach
A chopper flying above a crowded California shoreline suddenly started spinning wildly, finally descending rapidly and crashing into a cluster of palm fronds as onlookers watched.
Recordings shared on the internet depict the aircraft starting to spin near the beach then plunging towards the border of the coast, where it gets stuck among palm groves and a steps close to the shoreline route.
Rescue Operation Update
The Huntington Beach fire department said five individuals were taken to hospital comprising a pair who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the crash on that day.
Three persons on the road were harmed. Specifics on their condition were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
